Should I engage with LinkedIn collaborative articles?

I use LinkedIn on a daily basis since the end of my PhD. I’ve always used the platform to grow and expand my network. I found my two industry jobs with LinkedIn and pretty much all of my clients for this new solo trader venture I just started. It’s a great professional network which became a lot more than just looking for jobs. People talk to each other, share opinions, engage in interesting conversations, use it for personal branding and many recruiters are active on LinkedIn.

Have you looked at Glassdoor to know more about a company?

I have been on the job market again after 3 years and I’d like to share some of things I have learned during the journey and how I approach the job market after 3 years of experience and working in different places. DISCLAIMER: This is an op-ed article and not a personal attack to anyone. I run and manage a social media platform of nearly 14k people on Instagram and my network on LinkedIn is of nearly 3k folks. I get that your views and experience doesn’t get beyond your nose, but this isn’t the case for me. So if you don’t get it or you aren’t interested, move on and peace out! Living in a flat made of boxes

I’m impressed with myself on how well I have been managing the past weeks. I no longer have a job which is the most unexpected news of 2023, as unexpected as the breakdown of the global pandemic back in 2020. We might have forgotten that, but all of us are still dealing with the trauma of covid pandemic, 1.5 years of lockdown, the war in Ukraine, and global inflation. And then, bang, the year I thought I was going to make it, I failed again. At least I didn’t have to wait until December to know.
